It’s time for the annual room tour of my “GLAM ROOM” and as we all know; a lot can happen in a year – even in a beauty room. I’m constantly looking for new and smart ways to both organize and decorate my small glam space – and now I’m here to share my tips and tricks! If you’re like me and you don’t have a big room for all your stuff I hope you’ll get a little inspired. My favorite store when it comes to getting inspired and buying smart/usable furnitures has to be IKEA. They’ve got everything from A to Z, so many fun displays to look at for room inspiration and the best part – their items won’t brake your wallet.

So almost all of my furnitures can be found at IKEA – except from that little footstool that I used to sit on while doing my make-up last year. Now I’m using the TOBIAS CHAIR from IKEA which is the clear, chrome plated chair that you saw in my video. I really love this one and you can decorate it with a cute faux sheepskin to make it look more cosy. I’ve also have one BILLY SHELF to my room since last year where I keep some of my shoes and handbags display – you can even buy glass doors and add to it if you desire which is great and will give it a little extra something. If you don’t want to spend the money I’ve got a very inexpensive alternative to you – the GERSBY BOOKCASES that works just as good for storing shoes, handbags and whatever you want to display. These are not as tall or wide, but will work wonders if you have a small space to work with.

These ALEX units are amazing when it comes to storing make-up, hair products or/and accessories. I have both the 5- and 9-drawer units and I love them both for different reasons. One thing to keep in mind while buying these are how many drawers you’ll need and also plan ahead if you’re going to buy a few more later on – like I have. I have to admit that I love the 5-drawer a little more because the drawers have more space and they’re a little wider and longer so you can fit a lot more products – and I therefore recommend to get two of those and stack them in height instead of one 9-drawer unit if you need more than five drawers.

I tend to rotate on my decor pieces and re-organize my room once in a while – but most of my decor pieces I buy at IKEA or different local stores. For makeup organizers I’m a huge fan of ebay and amazon – so I’m sure you’ll find whatever you’re looking for online. If you have any questions be sure to leave me a comment!

Evening, sweeties ♥ I really hope you all enjoyed your weekend! Mine was all about work, work and a little more work. I’m not sure if you all know this – especially if you’re not following me at snapchat – but for the past weeks I’ve been working as a freelance makeup aritst in one of the Mac Cosmetics stores here in Bergen. I feel blessed and grateful – and for what it’s worth it doesn’t even feel like work since I enjoy every single day so, so much. But anyway – let’s talk a little bit about IMATS and my weekend in London.

As the shopaholic that I am I did managed to get my hands on a “few” make-up products as well as some fashion items this time as well. The most exciting part of attending IMATS has to be all the special effects makeup stands and demos – which was one of the main reason why I wanted to attend. I picked up a lot of fun things that I’ll use in my halloween tutorials – as well as to practice on my SFX skills. And of course I also grabbed lots of beauty make-up and new products that you’ll see in the haul video:

Ready, Set, Action | Life Update!

Evening, lovebugs ♥ So since I’ve been off my blogging skills lately I thought it was about time to update you a little on what’s going on in my life at the moment. These last two months has been amazing – but hectic to say at least.

It all started with IMATS London in May. It was a blast – and I still haven’t gotten around to film my hauls from that trip because the day I landed back in Bergen my nose started to bleed and bleed multiple times a day. So if you follow me on snapchat – which you should btw – you already know this, but I had to lay in bed with a bandage in it for about two weeks to stop the bleedings and I even had to visit the hospital – not one, but two times to get it fixed – and all of this happened while I was working as a make-up artist on this new series. Just my luck!

So after that unfortunate incident I’ve been working almost non stop. I’m now spending my days at a beautiful farm in Norway working as the key make-up artist for a movie called “Young And Alone” and I enjoy every minute of it! I’ve spent two weeks here already and today’s the last day shooting at this location before we all go back to Bergen to shoot some scenes for the movie there as well. Pretty exciting!

Hello Beauties ♥ How’s life? I really hope you all are enjoying your easter vacay so far (if you’re celebrating easter?!) ♥ Tomorrow’s my last day working as a make-up artist on the current movie I’ve been working on for the past week – which is kind of sad, since I’m really enjoying my job! Burgundy Rose Make-Up Tutorial | Spring Look

Since spring is right around the corner or at least for some of you – I’ve created a bold and bright make-up look using some of my favorite eyeshadow colors from Coastal Scents. Burgundies and plum colors have always gotten my attention in one way or another, so for this tutorial I wanted to share my most worn make-up look lately.

This is perfect for almost every occasion like a date, a night out with the girls, or even for a regular Monday afternoon – and especially if you have green eyes as these colors will bring out the best in them and really make them pop! You can also change up the lip color to your favorite lipsticks since this make-up will look great with almost every single lip shade out there! If you want to tone it down a little and give it a bit more of that “natural” everyday look – go for a pink/mauve nude tone – and voilá! ♥

Skincare Routine | Are you doing it right?!

Hello World ♥ So when it comes to looking good and getting that flawless make-up base, which we all want right?! How to achieve it you may ask? It’s all in the prep work – at the end it all comes down to your skincare routine. If your skin is not hydrated properly or the products you’re using each morning and night are the wrong ones for your skin type the make-up just won’t look as good. It’s therefore extremely important to know how to take care of your skin and which products to use when and for what – so in this video I’ll tell you ALL about it + share my tips and tricks with you below:

So when it comes to skin care products it’s important to know which skin type you have and buy products that suits well with your skin. When it comes to moisturizers I’m using products with a light consistency – as the lotion water instead of a cream – since I have oily to combination skin. This will give my skin all the moist that it needs and at the same time not make me look like an oily mess through out the day. A light lotion or lighter products will dry faster and sink in a lot better than a cream – especially if you have combination to oily skin – so be sure to keep that in mind when shopping for skin care products. Also be sure to use a face mask at least once a week to give your skin all the nutrients and care possible.

Beauty Room Tour + Make-Up Collection

Hola Beauties ♥ It has been a while since I last uploaded a blog post – and I know I told you guys that this year was going to be the year were I would blog at least three times a week – but sometimes life gets in the way and mine has been pretty hectic. Three weeks ago I started my make-up artist education and I’ve also been busy with doctors appointments, therapy, filming, editing and of course answering all your comments on all my social media apps ♥ Don’t take me wrong – I’m very grateful – but there’s just been so much happening at once that I really needed to take a step back and sort everything out! So now I’m trying to plan out my weeks very carefully so I also get some time to myself and time to do it all ♥

Anyway, over to the reason to why you’re here – my beauty room and make-up collection. As every year this is a very requested video and since I’ve changed up a lot of my storage, re-decorated and re-furnished my whole room I thought this was the perfect time to share it all with you guys to give you some inspiration and ideas on how to store your make-up for instant and also how you can decorate your room in a cute, girly way!

Last year I made a blogpost on where to buy all the items that you saw in my “Beauty Room Tour 2016” so if you want to shop my beauty room decor here’s the link to that post. All my furnitures are the same – but I may have gotten some more shelves and storage! I’m also talking about almost every single thing in my video so if there’s anything – feel free to ask me in the comments ♥

I’m so satisfied with how it all have turned out in my glam room and since I’m a perfectionist I’m always changing stuff around and on the hunt for the perfect storage! One of my favorite storage idea for storing my palettes are these knife and fork containers from IKEA which are around one dollar!!! They fit perfect into the ALEX drawers units if you only cut of the excess rim at the sides ♥ I also use some white ones for storing my lipsticks and eye products as you’ll see in the video – and they’re around two dollars!! Which is a STEAL ♥

Also be sure to check out my youtube channel and hit the subscribe button for more videos like these ones! I upload twice a week so there’s plenty of beauty, fashion and lifestyle tips and tricks to come in the future ♥ Have a lovely day! Xo

Happy Saturday ♥ I hope the weekend is treating you well so far! So who’s excited to watch my New York vlog? I really hope you guys will like it since I spent around 16 hours (in just one day – thanks to the jet-leg) editing all 298 clips into a 30 minutes long video – which was a struggle! I had to cut out a lot because I didn’t want the vlog to be way too long. We all know how much I love to talk from time to time – and I always tend to get carried away for some odd reason. Haha!

Anyway, in this vlog you’ll get to follow me around for the whole week I spent in NYC – all from shopping, restaurants, walking in the streets to the most incredible view from the Empire State building at night. We were also so lucky to experience snow, see all the christmas decorations and store-window display show which was amazing!!  Be sure to hit that play button down below ⇓ ⇓ ⇓ ⇓ ⇓

We also went back to visit the school I went to back in 2010/11. It brought back so many memories and it was a wonderful experience to see where I lived and walk around at campus. I already miss these days! Hopefully I’ll be back soon ♥  Have a lovely day, sweeties!

Empire State Of Mind

Hello World ♥ I’m now safe and sound back in Norway – or more jet-legged with a messed up sleep routine. I can wake up at 5am or 6 pm – it’s all just a huge chaos. The weirdest part is that when I was in New York I was able to go to sleep around 1am every single night and I still wake up without an alarm at 9am. So I guess I should just pack all my things and move.. If it only was that simple, right?!

So the plan was to blog a lot when I was in New York, but the time just flew and before I knew it I was on my way back home. The week went way too fast and there were always something happening. We got up early every day and just walked around in the streets for hours – I haven’t walked that much in years to say at least.

The trip was wonderful and I already want to go back. It’s something about New York – something special which makes me love that city beyond any place else I’ve been. Maybe it’s the lights, the streets, the sights or maybe just the vibe I get when I’m there which I don’t get anywhere else.

I can’t believe it has been 6 – almost 7 years since I lived in New York. I mean – where did all the time go? Nothing really had changed – except from a few stores that had changed location and some new and exciting ones that suddenly appeared. This time, since I went with my boyfriend who’ve never been to The Big Apple – we did some “sightseeing” things as well as a lot of shopping, eating at my favorite restaurants and walked around at the spots where I used to spend my time back in the days.

One of my favorite things to do when in NYC is to visit the Empire State Building at night. It’s just magical to watch all the lights, so if you’re ever going to the city be sure to add that to your “to-do” list. The view is breathtaking! I didn’t bring my canon camera so these pictures don’t even compare ♥
We were also very lucky to see all the Christmas decorations and store window displays since we went pretty early after the holidays which was incredible! It got me to miss the old days when it was my daily thing to just walk around and get in the holiday spirit just by looking around. I also has to mention one of my favorite department stores – Saks at 5th Avenue which had the most gorgeous holiday show outside! I just can’t get over it! I filmed every single day so there’s now a vlog up on my youtube channel if you’re interested in following me around for the whole week – yay! ♥

New York I’ll see you soon! Have a lovely weekend, loves ♥

New York Here I Come

Morning loves ♥ So when you’re reading this my boyfriend and I are on our my to the Big Apple – and I’m beyond excited! I can’t really understand that it has been almost 6 years since I last walked around in Central park, shopped in Soho or spent the days eating way too much at New York’s greatest restaurants. I’ll share some pictures from the days that I used to live in NY. The times flies by so incredible fast! I’ve missed my “old” home and I can barely wait to be back. I’m probably sitting on the plane right now doing a little dance of excitement. Haha!

We’re going to spend one whole week living at an hotel near Central park and just a short stroll away from Fifth Avenue – which can be pretty dangerous for my wallet. I feel like I really needed this trip. I really needed to get away and just get my mind onto something a little bit more interesting than rain, wind or anxiety. So hopefully we’ll have a smooth plane ride on our way over the big ocean and that it won’t feel like forever. I’m such an impatient person when it comes to plane rides or travel in general – and I will of course film the whole trip for you guys and make a travel vlog once I get home. Yay ♥

So I guess I’ll say – see you in New York City ♥

The First Blank Page Of 365

Happy New Year ♥ As we slowly move away from another year – we’re now ready to put another book filled with twelve chapters back into the shelf. Another 365 days are gone and for me – this year has had it’s ups and down like every year, but in some ways this year has changed me. The way I think. What I feel. And how I want to spend my life. I’ve experienced some of my best days of my life so far, but I’ve also fought through some of the worst. I’ve suffered, but I’ve also been smiling.

Time come and go – and so do the people in our life. In 2016 I had to let go of both people and goals, but it turned out to be only for the better. I’ve been stressed out of my mind and my anxiety hasn’t been my best friend. Far from it. It has kept me awake for days. It has made me so nervous that I thought I had a heart attack. The anxiety turned out to be my worst enemy – and to top it all – depression came creeping back. So 2016 was far from what I hoped it would be – but also pretty damn good. Everyday we take a step outside the door into the real world. We meet new people. All kinds of people. We meet new friends, while other slowly fades away into the fog.

Even if the year wasn’t completely what I wanted or what I hoped for – it is just the journey called life. We all walk on a path. And where it will take us – nobody knows – but at the end it will all turn out for the better. I’m now ready to put it all behind me. To start fresh and open my mind up to opportunities and adventures that lay ahead. Everyday we learn something new. We’re not perfect. We all make mistakes. We find happiness. We’ll see people letting each other down. We experience things we never thought were coming our way. In every second of our life, we get more sure of who we are and what we want to do. We learn to live with the pain. In some way or another. We get stronger. More secure. We’ll always find a way out of the darkness and into the light. No matter what.

Each and every year we get a new chance. A new book filled with 365 pages – so what are you going to do this year? Let’s make 2017 a better year – even if it may turn out just the same – you can at least say that you tried. To move on isn’t always easy, but it’s something we all have to do once or twice, even if we don’t want to. I’m sure you’ll do great this year. I’ve decided that this year I’m going to follow my passion and my dreams – instead of seeking a higher education which will only give me a lot of money in the bank, but not the happiness that I’m craving at the moment. I want to live. Learn. And love like nobody has loved. I will survive. I will fight my mental illnesses. And I will be stronger than ever. Because I have to. I have to do it for myself in order to be happy and to feel alive again. I won’t let anything bring me down and I won’t let my thoughts destroy all my days.

The term; move on, can be the hardest thing you’ll ever do. But the day you’ve manage to move on you’ll stand as a much stronger person. That’s when you’ll know you’ve made the right choice. All your wounds will heal, but you’ll have to be patient, because it will take time. Days. Weeks. Months. Even years. But when that day finally comes; you’ll see how beautiful life can be! All my best wishes ♥
