Music Should Be Your Escape

“When you get music and words together, it can be a very powerful thing.”
Bryan Ferry

I guess many of you already know that I’ve a big passion for music and that I love to sing.
The best medicine for me, when I’m not feeling good is to sit down and write or use my voice to sing. So after many months I finally bought a keyboard. It’s a great opportunity for me to make my own songs and just sit down and play for hours.

    • I always sings the karaoke if I’ve got a chance, and I have been singing in birthdays, and party´s and stuff like that, and recorded some of that.. But I haven’t been doing anything super big yet..

I wanted to experience New York and live the american dream for a year.. pluss Im studying Fashion, so New York is the place to be if you want to have Fashion and english in one package. Instead of Fashion and French ;P

      • Great to feel the passion you have for the music!

You sounds like a logical thinking woman, with a open view. Understandable that you’re choosen for New York! What is your top moment and your worst moment there so far?

      • Yes, I love music, and I’m really into everything about it! U can do so much with it, and its such a good medicine! 🙂

Hmmm… Thats a hard question, because I have had a lot of great moments here in NY.. but on of the best must be the view from empire state building, its incredible! And the worst, I have no idea, because I’ve only had a great time, except some home sickness from being away from my family and friends..

  1. Oh, I agree fully with you. I’m not a singer or player, but I love music. It makes me feel good, happy or otherwise; depending on the music I’m listening to.

A great moment; I can imagine, even I was never there so far. Home sickness is a strange thing. Brave that you were dealing with it!

    • Yes, I think music is a great thing to have whenever u r feeling happy or sad. You can hide behind it and focus and relax in your own way! Just let all your thoughts go away, and live in the moment! 🙂
